Oprah's Fall From Grace.

My grandmother, bless her soul, had an old, probably African saying, "when yuh live in concrete house, board house does call yuh". How true! Even happened to me. Amazing how we as humans always seem to find a way to mess up a good thing. My sister Oprah, I must admit didn't surprise me. Somehow I detected a deep unhappiness, a silent displeasure, almost an intellectual animosity towards her past. Though whitewashed with dollars, it lingered just beneath her public display of unshakable self confidence. At times she appeared to relish in her authority to have people clinging to her every word. I have watched her evolve from the poor deeply spiritual black woman to a rich God doubting, blaspheming sybarite. To hear anyone openly challenge the written word of God is unforgivable. I love debates, I believe in freedom of expression, I admire the philomath, but I strongly detest anyone who would stand today and question or should I say enervate the words of the Bible. Oprah's recent actions are nefariuos, fatuous, self- aggrandizing and downright demonic.
This once highly touted, strong, overcoming woman today sits almost in a trance to be manipulated by a man who appears to be from out of space. His alien-like demeanor reminds me of the typical cult leader. I may be wrong but I will not be surprised if he is messing with "new age" medication. It is incomprehensible to me of ordinary understanding what occurred here. Did Oprah forget the God she called to in poverty? Does extreme wealth entitle you to be a debater of the word of God? I call on her to come back. I plead with her to heed this warning, ask God to create in her a right spirit.
My other concern is the children of that school she founded in Africa. Will she be exporting this teaching to the vulnerable minds of these African babies? Remember my readers, Jim Jones, Heaven's Gate. Let's all pray for this sister.

I believe your view is a very close minded one. I find Oprah to be liberating from the old brain wash, mind controlling biblical teaching that you and others are accustomed to. Why do people feel we have to live in such a trapped life of religion or god or even bible?

You come off very strong and almost angry. Which God are we blaspheming when we wonder if all this hoopla is real? There are many, who do not believe in the God that is claimed to be in the heaven above. What does that make us, devil worshipers? Be a little more open minded here and research where she is coming from. There are many like us who feel that all this biblical teaching of God is not true and for the most part not able to be scientifically proven not to mention it just does not make sense! What is the warning of God you speak about? Those of us who do not believe shall perish in the everlasting fire of hell? What an unjust, unforgiving and angry god! I will worship nothing that represents such negativity. You go Oprah! You can be my leader any day. The problem is that we have no respect for the person who is different and free in thinking.

By the way, I have not seen anyone else giving back to the mother land. If Oprah could liberate the enslaved minds of those children in Africa, that would be the first big step to enlightenment for our people.
